Rhythms Academy of Dance Schedule 2025-2026 Dance and Voice Season

*Voice Lessons: Available 1/2 hour timeslots for voice lessons are from 3:30-9:00 PM on Friday evenings.

*Modern Intensives: Miss Maia teacher for the first 1/2 of the season.

*Starting Age:  PreBallet and PreTap are for dancers ages 4-6; Tap and Ballet starting age is 5 years old; Modern and Jazz is 7 years old; Ballet Intensives and Jazz Intensives is 7 years old.  Musical Theatre Intensive and Lyrical Ballet: ages 8 and up. Hip Hop Intensive: ages 9 and up. Voice Lessons: ages 8 and up.  Pointe is by invitation only.

*Please Note: Minor scheduling changes may occur after registration depending on class enrollment. Additional dance classes/intensives might also be added to schedule.

***Modern III/IV Intensive and Lyrical Ballet:  Students registering for Modern III/IV Intensive and/or enrolling in Lyrical Ballet must also enroll in Ballet and/or a Ballet Intensive.

*Leveling: Each dance class and dance intensive is leveled and dancers will be placed into levels according to ability not necessarily by age or number of years of prior training. 

**FOOTWORK:   By audition; Competitive Dance Team; Begins in October 2025; Auditions for class/to be a part of this Competitive Group will be held in September.   For tappers in levels Tap IV and above.

**Jr. FOOTWORK:  By audition;  Jr. Competitive Dance Team; Begins in October 2025; Auditions for class/to be a part of this Competitive Group will be held in September.   For tappers in levels Tap II and above.

***Jazz FOOTWORK:  By audition;  Jazz Competitive Dance Team; Begins in December 2025; Auditions for class/to be a part of this Competitive Group will be held in September.   For tappers auditioning for FOOTWORK or Jr FOOTWORK, who are also jazz dancers and would like to be in Jazz FOOTWORK as well.

Saturday & Sunday Monthly Dance Intensive Dates: September 27/28; October 25/26; November 22/23; December 20/21; January 24/25; February 21/22; March 28/29; April 25/26; May 2/3

*In the event of inclement weather, please check the studio's facebook page or voicemail message for cancellations. Phone calls to each student will not be made. The studio’s voicemail message will state any weather cancellations after 2 PM. Note: The studio does not follow all school closings.
